Boiler Room Presents Black Pearl Cabaret’s BITE ME!

The Black Pearl Cabaret will donate 10% of all their ticket sales for the February 14, 15, and 16 performances of “Bite Me!” – A “Twilight” Musical Comedy Spoof at the Pope Marine Building – Taylor & Madison on the pier (8pm curtain,) to the non-for-profit youth-oriented coffee house and soup kitchen the Boiler Room.

“This was a no-brainer,” explained Artistic Director R O’Donnell, “Since over 30% of the BPC is comprised of Boiler Room volunteers, including board members Marla and Thomas Overman, this is our way of giving back to the organization that helped to develop a lot of the talent you’ll be  seeing onstage. And thanks to Executive Director Amy Smith and General Manager Ahren Howard, the BPC has a place to perform after losing our home at the Undertown. In the end, it’s all about community helping community.”

“If you’ve had your fill of vampires, and want something to do this Valentine’s Day weekend, then this is the show for you,” declares creator R O’Donnell. “The blockbuster film “Twilight,” about teenage love, still graces the covers of all kinds of national magazines, so it was an easy target for the BPC troupe.” Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the Red Raven Gallery and/or the PT Food Co-Op or $20 dollars at the door.
