BLACK PEARL CABARET ANNOUNCES RSVP, A NEW KREEPY KABARET BY B. R. KREEP
A séance on Halloween? What could possibly go wrong?
Black Pearl Cabaret announces the development of RSVP, a new Kreepy Kabaret by award-winning composer and lyricist B. R. Kreep.
Part musical, part cabaret, and part deliciously macabre theatrical event, RSVP promises an evening with The Kreep himself. On Halloween night, The Kreep welcomes a gathering of specially invited guests—the audience—to join him for a séance at the stroke of midnight.
What could possibly go wrong?
The RSVP creative team is currently in negotiations with a number of theatre artists, including Broadway and Off-Broadway award-winners, with plans underway to greenlight developmental workshops of the new production.
“This is an exciting journey,” says executive producer Tim Erwin, “and I’m thrilled to be working with some old friends and new on this magical and spooky production.”
B. R. Kreep is the theatrical pen name of multiple ASCAP award-winner R. O’Donnell, whose work combines music, theatre, dark humor, fantasy, and the macabre. O’Donnell previously created B. R. Kreep’s HALLOWEEN, writing its book, music, and lyrics. The multiracial, multicultural Halloween-themed musical adventure further established the strange and whimsical theatrical world of The Kreep.
With RSVP, that world takes a more intimate turn, inviting audiences directly into the festivities—and, perhaps, into something they weren’t expecting.
